Designated Smoking Areas
Heathrow Terminal 5 is a smoke-free airport, in line with British law. Smoking is permitted in designated areas outside the terminal building. There are two outdoor smoking areas located outside the terminal: one near the bus station and one near the car park.
Please be aware that you must have passed through security to access the designated smoking areas. Once you have passed through security, you will not be able to re-enter the terminal building to smoke.
Other Smoking Areas
There are no other designated smoking areas at Heathrow Terminal 5. Smoking is not permitted inside the terminal building, including in the departure lounges, arrival lounges, and baggage claim areas.
